I worked under a supervisor named Greg Bennet in the Banquets department at Ponte Vedra Inn and Club, and I want to share my experience for the benefit of others considering employment here. During my time there, I observed disorganization and a lack of effective leadership within the department. Training was inconsistent, and expectations were not clearly communicated. His weight inhibits him from performing the simple tasks of the job Set-Up Supervisor. Additionally, I witnessed behavior that I felt was unprofessional in the workplace, including inappropriate physical contact and jokes among staff. I reported my concerns internally, but I did not feel they were adequately addressed. The company treats its employees very poorly for a very low pay rate. I would advise potential employees to carefully consider whether this environment aligns with their expectations for professionalism and management support. Greg Bennet would often make sexual remarks of employees, touch the men/boys in an odd way, comment on other departments in an incredibly derogatory manner and disappear to only be found eating. My experience under his leadership was horrifying and made me think how incredibly dimwitted some people can be.
